3-Day Advanced Case Consultation | Maximum 14 Participants
Level 3 is an intensive three-day advanced training and case consultation experience for therapists progressing toward EFT certification. Limited to a maximum of 12 participants, the training provides an opportunity for detailed consultation on participants’ own clinical work, alongside advanced teaching in EFT theory, case formulation, complex therapeutic processes, and advanced therapy skills.
Each participant is expected to present one or more video or audio recordings of their clinical work for supervision and group discussion and to prepare a brief EFT case formulation for the client being presented. Recordings conducted in languages other than English may be presented with English subtitles.
The small-group format allows for in-depth case discussion, individualized feedback, and close examination of the moment-to-moment clinical decisions involved in advanced EFT practice.
Level 3 fulfills part of the training requirements toward certification as an EFT therapist in accordance with the standards of the International Society for Emotion Focused Therapy (isEFT).
Prerequisite: Completion of EFT for Individuals Level 1 and Level 2.
Please note that full attendance and active participation are required to receive a certificate of completion.
Please note that each participant in this training will be expected to present one or more video or audio recordings of client sessions for supervision and discussion. If your therapy recordings are in a language other than English, you may still participate, if you subtitle the recordings to English subtitles. Additionally, participants will be required to prepare a brief EFT case formulation of the client they are presenting.
